HYT TC508 Program Cable and Disc
Part #: 61508P
If you have bought any of our HYT Radios [HYT America] in the last 5 years this is the correct cable and program. Includes a Genuine HYT programming cable [not a china copy] and the HYT ht508e v5.01.01 program.
FAQ I bought a cable on ebay for 10 bucks and a program for 30.00 and it does not work. The program did download but I think the cable is bad. Can you help? [j^^^e} If you only paid 10 bucks for a cable I can almost promise you it won’t work at least not with the HYT radios we sell. Genuine HYT cables cost over 30.00 each at dealer cost. How come yours is 60.00 and I see them on ebay for under 10.00 with shipping? [2^^g] You get a china copy of the cable and if you read the ad you don’t get the program. We have bought from almost every china seller on ebay and we have not found any that work correctly with the HYT AMERICA radios we sell. There is only one other guy on ebay that we know of that sells the real stuff. [TA RADIOS] I bought a IMSA roadrace set from you in June 2012 with 4 extra radios. Is this the program I need? Yes Is this narrow band? And can I copy one radio freq to another? Yes v5.01.01 is narrow band and yes you can copy as long as it is the same model radio. The program has a read from radio and then write to radio option. We just bought a used set of racing radios from a Supercar team here in Australia. They say they are from you and the headsets do have your decals but the radios are pretty well beat up but do work well. I need to change the channels to the ones we use. How do I tell if these are your radios before I buy this item? Easy. Take the battery off and on the back of the radio it will say. HYT MODEL TC-508U[1] 400-470MHz and at the bottom you will see V5.01.01 and it will have the FCC ID on it. if you see something else email or call us 1st and we can still help in most cases. Whats the difference between HYT America and the China version? Below answer is from HYT”s website Radios purchased from an international seller do not have the FCC Label on them. They are not covered by Hytera America’s warranty policy and will not be accepted for service. The item must be shipped back to the seller, who in most cases does not have a capable technical staff and is likely to ship it to the factory for repair. The seller is only required to follow host site return policy usually 30 days. Radios usually do not come programmed. They often arrive with foreign software.
